Sunday Night Seminar | Room 201/202 @ 6:45pm
Drawing on the second part of the Catechism, this seminar will be an interactive discussion on the Church and the sacraments.  In addition to discussion and Q&A, students will watch and discuss short videos from Bishop Barron’s video series “Catholicism 101” and “The Mass.”  Dr. Hahn’s study “The Bible and the Sacraments” will also be discussed.

Church History 2: From the Reformation to Pope Francis | Monday Nights, 7:30pm, SLC Conference Room
This seminar will review the key figures and events of Church History, starting with the Reformation and ending with Pope Francis and current controversies and scandals affecting the Church. Come learn more about the Protestant Revolution, Jansenism Modernism, Vatican I & II, John Paul II, Pope Benedict XVI, and Pope Francis.

This course studies key ethical theories and philosophers throughout history, focussing on their views of moral action and moral character. Students will learn how to analyze and apply different theories to current ethical issues. Special attention will be paid to the thought of St. Thomas Aquinas.

The Glory of the Lord: An Introduction to Sacred Art & Music | Wednesdays, 4pm. SLC 101.
This seminar will explore the history and development of Catholic worship and the Mass from its Old Testament roots to the modern day through the lens of musical and artistic masterpieces. See how Catholics of every age lived and practiced their Faith and how that has shaped our experience today.

Adoration at the Fiat House
Adoration at the Fiat House Chapel (1401 Engel Road across the street from SLC looking west) is beginning on Thursday the 24th. Adoration will be available there each week on Thursdays from 6pm - midnight and Fridays from 6am - noon.

St. Gianna Society | Feb. 12 & 16, Mar 26, Apr 9 & 23, May 7 @ 8PM in the Conference Room
The St. Gianna Society of St. Lawrence is a student-led organization that unites pre-health students in prayer, education, and networking opportunities that are integral to the spiritual and professional development of its members. Come join these meetings as we discuss select readings from the book "Catholic Witness in Health Care" by John Travaline and discuss how we are called to integrate our Catholic faith with our future careers.
