Director of Liturgy & Sacred music
The St. Lawrence Center seeks a full-time Director to lead an authentically Catholic, vibrant, and reverent liturgical life at the University of Kansas. This role oversees the planning and execution of all liturgies in fidelity to the Roman Rite and GIRM, establishes a cohesive liturgical vision, and teaches Catholic liturgy through ongoing student formation.
Responsibilities include forming and mentoring student liturgical ministers; recruiting, training, and directing student singers, musicians, and choirs; preparing worship aids; and collaborating with clergy and staff to integrate liturgy into the Center’s evangelizing mission.
Qualifications: Practicing Catholic; degree in liturgy, theology, or organ; experience in liturgical ministry; organ and conducting skills required.
Evenings, weekends, and major liturgical seasons required.
