HOSPITALITY & EVENTS
Hospitality Intern
2-8 hrs / week
The SLC Hospitality Interns help create space for encounter in the life of St. Lawrence by coordinating events and scheduling and managing volunteers. From Mass experience, giving tours, hosting outreach events, and beyond they set the stage for authentic connection and true community. Interns are the example of what it means to live a missionary lifestyle.

Hospitality Volunteer
1-8 Hrs / MONTH
The SLC Hospitality Volunteers help create space for encounter in the life of St. Lawrence. From Mass experience, giving tours, hosting outreach events, and beyond they set the stage for authentic connection and true community. Additionally, each volunteer will receive SLC merch that can only be obtained through being on the team.
SLOW DRIP TEAM
4-5 HRS / WEEK
The Slow Drip team helps create spaces for encounter through preparing the physical environment, hospitality, and the components of a coffee shop on Friday mornings. The purpose of Slow Drip is to provide a space and opportunity for authentic connections to be made. Looking for 4 students for the team with availability on Friday mornings.
LITURGY & OCIA TEAM
Liturgical Minister
1 Sunday Mass every 2 weeks
Liturgical Ministers serve a variety of roles within the Mass including Ushers/Greeters, Altar Servers (men only), Readers, and Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion.
Twenty people needed at various Sunday Masses
Sacristan
3-5 hrs / week
Sacristans prepare for the celebration of the Mass by setting the altar for the priest, organizing the worship space, and leading a team of liturgical ministers for each Sunday Mass. Sacristans must be baptized Catholics, or will soon enter the Catholic Church. A $500 stipend will be provided for each semester served.
OCIA Team
2 hr / week
The OCIA team will host and track the weekly OCIA Meetings during the KU semesters. We are looking to build a team of 4-6 students who love their Catholic faith and are excited to walk with others as they prepare to enter the Church.
SACRED MUSIC TEAM
Sacred Music Team
4-5 hrs / week
Sing with the Chapel Choir or play an instrument at the Mass to offer your gifts back to our Lord. Volunteer and stipend positions available!

Parking Monitor
1-2hrs / week
Parking Monitors will help check parking passes and keep our parking safe and affordable for students!
Parking Monitors will receive free parking for the year.
NIGHT MANAGER
3-5 hrs / week
Night Managers help run the St. Lawrence Center after hours. As a Night Manager, you’ll be asked to cover the front desk one night per week and lock up the Center at the end of your shift. Think this could be the right fit for you?
ADVANCEMENT & COMMUNICATIONS
EVENTS INTERN
2-4 hrs / MO.
Do you desire to create environments for others to encounter the St. Lawrence Center? Become our events intern and help us through preparing the physical environment, hospitality, and the components of successful events.
SOCIAL MEDIA INTERN
2-4 hrs / wk.
Are you a creative looking to gain experience in social media planning and creation? We’re looking for a social media intern to help with marketing our events, editing videos for media platforms, and help us create a personality online through interacting with other schools and parishes.
PHOTOGRAPHY INTERN
2-3 hrs / wk.
Help us tell the story of the St. Lawrence Center through photography. This intern will photograph events and edit photos for our social media and website.
Equipment and training will be provided as needed.
PODCAST INTERN
2-3 hrs / wk.
Our podcast intern will help us produce, edit and market our upcoming podcast for the Fall Semester. If you love to create and edit, this could be the role for you!
Advancement Intern
1-3 hrs / week
Advancement interns help the advancement office expand student and alumni reach, update addresses, run reports, write thank-yous, and more.
