"Here at KU and St. Lawrence, I have worked on being more open to what God’s plan is for me, even if it’s something I might not see or necessarily want for myself. The path toward medical school has been a difficult one, but I’ve learned it’s not up to me what happens next. God is in charge and I’m simply here to be His follower, wherever He leads me. My answer to God is YES. Even if I don’t know what the question is, or where it will take me, I am working toward complete trust and surrender to His will."
